Registration is $20 per person for the luncheon and program. Students qualify for a
reduced rate of $10 per person. Students with a student membership in UNA-USA

Lois L. Salmeron, Ed.D., RN, is Assistant Dean and Professor at Oklahoma City
University’s Kramer School of Nursing. She is a Professor Emeritus of Oklahoma
State University and was instrumental in developing the nursing program at OSU-
OKC. She created the first Distance Education Program for educating registered
nurses in our state and was inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of
Fame in 2003.
S. Njeri Mbugua, a native of Kenya, is a senior at the University of Central
Oklahoma. She will receive a bachelor’s degree in biology in December. An honor
student involved in many organizations and activities, both on and off campus, Ms.
Mbugua plans to do humanitarian work related to health issues. Her particular focus
will be minority groups and women’s and children’s health in developing nations.
Amy Chlouber, M.S., LPC, Program Director of the Therapeutic Child Care Center
at Sunbeam Family Services in Oklahoma City, is an early childhood mental health
specialist. She is active in the Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health, the
Better Baby Care Forum, and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). A
former director of four therapeutic nurseries, she is also a certified infant massage
instructor.
