Each year, United Nations Day is celebrated
around the world on October 24th -- the date
on which, in 1945, the UN General Assembly
convened for its first meeting.  

In Oklahoma City, it is the custom of our
chapter to sponsor a luncheon program on
the Saturday closest to October 24th.
