outside of our
school.... Overall, with

sponsors and friends
we raised nearly
$11,000, which will
provide 300 children
food for a whole
school year in a

Leann's Path to Peace: Walk the World OKC 2007
May 13th, 3-5pm - Perimeter of the State Capitol
In its third year, this youth-led grassroots walk joined
walks in all time zones in a 24 hour period with the
common goal of raising awareness and funding to
end childhood hunger by the year 2015.
Results as of June 1, 2007 ... ... ... $13,857.29
WALK THE WORLD OKC 2007: Activities
Casady Schools: Raised awareness connecting to
the arts, walks, and fundraising.
Heritage Hall High School: Raised awareness in
Peer Leaders class.
Harding Charter : Raised awareness inspiring
T-shirt decoration and fundraising.
Mercy School : Mrs. Myram Hassan raised aware-
ness of her 8th grade class.
Boys and Girls Club at Memorial and McKinley Parks: 6-12 year old club
members raised their awareness by walking with the Cyclones during their site
visits on February and November. Older club members at Memorial Park raised
their awareness by checking Internet information about the walk and the
sponsored organizations.
